King County Courthouse Demolition in Bellevue
To make way for a new park and for light rail Dickson Company Demolished the 21,773 square foot building.
Location: Pioneer Square, Seattle
Before demolition Dickson Company abated asbestos in the roof, floor tile and vinyl. They also safely disposed of mecury and polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) bearing light tubes and ballasts. The 21,773 square foot building was made of primarily wood and concrete. Additionally, Dickson Comapny tore up and recycled 48,000 square feet of asphalt and concrete. The amount of material diverted from the land fill to be recycled was about 90%.
